Bland welcome, bland seating, dirty seats, bland & beyond cheap white wine, bland fish and chips( how can you get this so wrong)..Best bit of this meal was the tartare sauce which was out of a pot), overpriced lamb shank without an S. waiting staff the stars!
Great pub, great food, great staff. Some areas have a little less atmosphere than others, but overall a great spot for lunch, dinner or just a drink.
Got Pressup vouchers there.
There is a lovely buzz in Ashton's. The lunch was very tasty and the Team were very friendly. The best carvery around I think 🤔

Never seen or heard of it. Fab outdoor terrace over the dodder if a summers day.

Cute snug seating.
Lamb shank was delicious, served with cous loads of flavour and nuts little pricey at 32 euro.
Carvery seems to be served everyday day was a huge portion probably too much! Very good value at 17.00 euro
Avoid. One or two staff valiantly trying their best but simply not good on any aspect.
